TITLE: Purchasing Specialist
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
JOB DUTIES: Prepare and manage purchase orders for residential remodeling projects; solicit and evaluate bids; and review material requisitions to ensure alignment with project specifications and budgets. Analyze vendor pricing and cost estimates to ensure accuracy and competitiveness for home renovation materials. Evaluate and select suppliers of construction and finish materials based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery capabilities. Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with vendors to support cost-effective procurement for remodeling projects. Track and coordinate the delivery of materials to residential job sites, ensuring timely fulfillment and resolving delays or discrepancies. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and vendors to resolve issues with defective or non-conforming materials and maintain project timelines.
SALARY: $58,000 per year.
